I'm a Salvadorian-American portrait, event, and travel photographer based in Los Angeles. I enjoy travel and learning about people's cultures. I use my camera as a tool to share people's stories and the world I see.
I became interested in photography while taking a course at East Los Angeles Community College. At the time I was working as a full-time history teacher and my curiosity for studying different cultures and photography led me to become a photographer and photo educator.
I have 12 years of teaching experience and have taught photography for LAUSD at Paul Revere Charter Middle School and Magnet Center, Lynwood High School in South LA, and have led photography workshops through National Geographic Student Expeditions. At the moment I teach at Beverly Vista Middle School in Beverly Hills, CA.
